What started as a dream to bring high-quality hot chocolate to Amsterdam, has grown into a cozy spot in the heart of the city where Moca serves chocolate drinks all year round.
In winter, we focus on our classic hot chocolate. But we don’t leave you hanging in summer. Our drinks are just as good when they are iced. At Moca, chocolate is a year-round treat.
From the Albert Cuypmarket to Moca in the heart of the city.
Moca was founded in 2024 by two friends, Vito and Zeb from Amsterdam. We started with a stand at the Albert Cuyp Market.
The neighbourhood loved it, so in 2025 we opened our first permanent location, where chocolate is heated all day and mixed with fresh milk, serving the freshest premium chocolate milk possible.
After a successful first winter, spring arrived. With iced chocolate milk, ice cream, and iced matcha, we are proud to share quality chocolate products across all seasons.
Quality cacao and true craftmanship
Moca’s signature chocolate milk is made with 60% cacao, giving it its rich and smooth taste. We offer a range of different chocolate flavours and cacao strengths, from a soft 30% cacao, up to drinks made with 100% cacao.
We get our cacao from Dutch chocolate supplier Heinde & Verre. Their cacao beans come from sustainable farmers and are slowly roasted, dried, and peeled. When cacao beans are roasted this way, there is no need to add any additives or sugar to make it taste amazing. This way we can bring expertly crafted chocolate drinks to Amsterdam, without additives.
